Christmas

We had such a great Christmas this year! My mom, Steve, and Nick came out from Texas, so it was nice to finally have the whole family together for Christmas. The morning was spent at my aunt's house where we had a nice big breakfast and opened our "secret stockings" from one another. Payton even seemed interested when we unwrapped presents together....wrapping paper is amazing! That evening we spent with Bryce's family and had great dinner, opened presents and played games. Payton was completely spoiled, of course! We also visited my grandparents in California the following weekend. Payton met her Great-Grandpa and Great Grandma for the very first time. Luckily she was a little angel and made a very good impression. All-in-all, the holidays were wonderful! I love my family so much!

Payton has also decided she is done with laying down. She started sitting up around Christmas and almost hasn't gone back down since! Oh, and I promise I don't let her go around in stained clothes! We just started her on some solids and this is the aftermath. Man are sweet potatoes hard to get out of clothing!
